The herpetology department’s internal databases also contain ancillary specimen data, such as morphometric measurements,
mass, coloration in life, behavior at capture, prey items, GenBank data, and citations, when available.
Look for the field “Additional Data Present” and contact us for more information.
Currently, tissues are deposited in the Oklahoma Collection of Genomic Resources (OCGR),
the Sam Noble Museum’s tissue repository. Look for the fields “Tissue Present” and “Tissue Location.”
If OMNH is listed, please search the OCGR collection database or contact the OCGR Staff.
Please contact the Herpetology Department for information on non-OCGR tissue holdings.
